9:15 AM - 10:45 PM

Join us as we open #THRIVE2022! Across three big days the conference will address how to best support children and young people in home and school settings, who are living in government care and with a trauma experience, to ensure better childhoods and life outcomes.

Our opening session is hosted by Lived Experience Ambassador Emily Hikaiti, with the conference opening address provided by Adopt Change CEO Renée Carter. Speakers include the Hon. Amanda Rishworth MP, Minister for Social Services in the Australian Government; SNAICC CEO Catherine Liddle; and an Acknowledgement of Country provided by Professor Paul Chandler, Adopt Change board member. Our international guest and global pediatrician Dr Jane Aronson will be speaking with Founder Deborra-lee Furness and conference delegates on how carers can best support kids to #THRIVE.
