Due to COVID-19 there have been increased challenges for carers and the systems that support them, in delivering the best outcomes for children in out-of-home care. As a response to this, My Forever Family NSW in conjunction with the Department of Communities and Justice, is pleased to launch Shared Lives online training – free of charge – for agencies to offer their prospective carers, who are ready to progress to this stage of the authorisation process.
This Shared Lives online training service is delivered by My Forever Family NSW for a number of permanency support providers in NSW.
If you are an agency registering potential carers, please confirm with them before the commencement of the training that they have a computer or tablet in order to access the Zoom meeting platform and they are able to navigate the online learning platform.
