The NSW Carer Forum is an online event to highlight the voices of carers of children and young people in out-of-home care.

Carers across NSW have spoken via our statewide Carer Reference Groups (CRGs) and the biennial NSW Carer Survey, to help drive improvements in the sector and outcomes for children and young people in out-of-home care.

The NSW Carer Forum is an opportunity for carers and agency caseworkers and managers to hear directly from key representatives on some state-wide issues affecting carers, good practice examples, and improvements in policy. The forum will be interactive with Q&A opportunities and feedback polls.

The Hon. Alister Henskens, MP, Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services, will join on the day and speakers will include Renee Carter, CEO of Adopt Change and key representatives from the Department of Communities and Justice and My Forever Family NSW.
