Melissa (Mel) Pearce has been working to support vulnerable children and families for more than a decade and is Manager, Child and Family and DCJ.  She has also held roles with the Cancer Institute and Australian Crime Commission and started her career as a journalist. She is passionate about early planning and preparation for young people in care, as well as working with other agencies to create targeted opportunities for young people. She is also Mum to two teenage girls and love live music.
