I’m a 21 year old proud Aboriginal woman from Western Sydney. I am a passionate advocate for children and young people in the out of home care system after entering the care system myself in 2009.
I’ve been actively advocating since I was 12 years old for the Rights of children and young people. I have worked with many government and non-government organisations to help them better understand and include children’s voices in decision making and every conversation impacting children and young people. I am currently studying to become a primary school teacher at Western Sydney University and recognise how important education is for all children and young people. I also work full time as an Aboriginal Education Officer in an alternate education centre.
