Linda Cooke is an adoptive parent, has over 30 years as an educator working in primary schools both here in Australia and the UK, and more recently as an accredited Professional Therapeutic Life Story Worker (Rose Model, Berry Street). She is passionate about spreading the word about therapeutic parenting and trauma-informed teaching. Linda has recently pressed the ‘pause’ button on her teaching career to work freelance in this space and speaks regularly at forums. She is currently developing innovative ‘Life Story Work’ programs for schools to support both students and educators in their understanding of self and their own journeys. Linda values community and family and is happiest when sharing food with family and friends, walking in nature, or having a swim in the sea.
